About Me

Victoria Anderson

In addition to my California License LCS16654 and Masters degree from U. C. Berkeley, I have a certificate in clinical supervision from Smith College, and massage therapy and yoga teacher training certificates.
Growing up in a family of Scandinavian American immigrants to Southern California, I was drawn to cultures, languages, and spiritual practices different from my own ex-Mormon heritage.
For decades, I worked cross culturally as a bi-lingual therapist in agency settings in Northern California
I speak, read, and write Spanish fluently, and my French fluency is in progress!
I am married and have parented and supported various children: my non-binary biological offspring, god-children, and a foster child. I’ve been a single mom and have raised kids in partnership. The kids in my life are now young adults, and they have taught me oodles about how it is to live as a queer person, a person with physical handicaps and learning disabilities, a person who has lost a parent to cancer, as well as person who has suffered severe abuse. Though currently my practice focuses on adults, I conducted family and play therapy professionally with children and adolescents for 25 plus years.
